This will open a new tab. Please confirm your camera/ audio and enter your name.
Next, click "Join Video Call".
Your therapist will also login and meet you there at your scheduled time.
Tips For a Successful Online Session
Find a quiet, private space free of distractions
Make sure you have a strong WiFi connection by closing other applications or windows
Turn off desktop notifications and close any distracting windows
Use headphones (noise-canceling work best!)
Grab a notebook, pen, and glass of water
Silence or turn off your phone
Use the bathroom beforehand
Avoid being backlit if possible
Do not conduct your appointments while driving. If your therapist notices you are driving, they will end the session for your personal safety.
Our Teletherapy Platform
Our HIPPA compliant, secure, and state-of-the-art teletherapy platform allows us to connect deeply with our clients though creative and simple means. Our platform exists on a web-based platform as well as in the form of an app that is downloadable on your mobile phone. You are able to check into your session using either your phone, laptop or any other tablet device, and we offer both video and voice sessions.
The platform's secure messaging feature allows you to have another way to safely communicate with your therapist in between sessions.
Benefits of Online Therapy
Is online therapy effective?
Yes! Research shows that therapy from a distance can be just as effective as in-person therapy. It indicates that telepsychiatry clients reported improved mental health after a month of teletherapy. Telepsychiatry patients also reported similar levels of overall satisfaction and comfort as in-person ones (Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare, 2006).
